June Missive

Unto the noble and steadfast populous of this Great Middle Kingdom do Radagaisus and Ceinwen, King and Queen upon the Dragon Thrones, send Joyous Tidings.  The line is secure!

It is with glad hearts that we welcome Our heirs!  We are most pleased by the comportment and honor witnessed upon the field in Our Crown Tournament.  Each combatant truly bore their inspiration into the list.   We congratulate each of them in their valiant efforts and are proud to have such skill and grace in Our realms.

Great and Beloved People, Hearken to Our words!  The bounty of the summer is upon us.  Our lands are fertile and rich with ripening yields and orchard blooms beginning to turn fruitful.  Take measure of your lands and households; celebrate the coming of the months of bounty with those you love.  The season of feasts and faires provides ample opportunity for respite from the lengthy time spent in toil tending the fields.  As the days grow longer, know that each moment is but fleeting.

Celebrate with Us – revel in the beauty of the countryside and the air fresh with the scent of new growth.  Watch the sun rise through the mists in the forests and the sunset over the inland seas.  Appreciate the beauty of each day.

But be cautious lest you forget the care of your weapons. As the scythes are sharpened for the latent harvest, tend to your swords. It is not Our wish to summon the Dragon Army from the time needed to ensure winter’s bounty, but We are unable to let slip Our guard.  Messengers have come with news of unrest.
