Worthy People! We are deeply angered to share news of a Great Betrayal, a breach of treaty and failure of diplomacy. An age old enemy continues to press its advantage at Our gates and the immediate need to call Our warriors to arms is paramount. The Tyger beckons at the door. We fear the last overtures of statecraft have left Our adversaries cold and our emissaries lost.
We suspect that there may be poaching of Our lawfully protected Dragons near the foothills of the mountains of Our ally to the east. Since the northern route is held secure by Our Serene Ally, Ealdormere; We fear we may be forced to curb the Tyger’s encroachment in Sylvan AEthelmearc, whose friendship We hold dear.
We intend to send an advance guard ahead to gather intelligence so We may better understand the exigency of the situation and begin preparations for munitions and supplies. We ask that Our populace begin to set stores aside for a campaign. We anticipate the need to mobilize the Defense of the Kingdom so We may preserve Our lands.
Our General Staff has been alerted to recruit any and all able bodies. Those who are not combatants can still loose arrows, and have their points counted. Everyone is eligible – everyone is needed.
It is with deep pride that We ask you to prepare to arms as needed – so this Kingdom and all its riches may be preserved.

Unto the Glorious Populace of the Great Middle Kingdom do Radagaisus and Ceinwen, Grateful Majesties of the Midrealm send Blessed Greetings and Bright Salutations.
We wish to offer Our gratitude to those who work tirelessly at events, within groups and in offices, as teachers and laborers so that Our Kingdom is able to offer such wonderful venues that are enormously fine examples within the Society. It is this work that enables everyone to enjoy so great a game. We are proud to be honored with the opportunity to shoulder this mantle of responsibility. We are humbled that We represent a land so rich with tradition and wealthy with art and lore.
We thank those who have worked on Our behalf to ensure Our care and comfort and those who have made the extra effort for Us in planning Our Coronation. We hope that the joy We hold is apparent to all and that a prevailing sense of celebration can continue throughout Our reign.
We ask that Our populace join Us, whenever possible. That you each find renewed vigor in the ceremony and courtesy that brought Us to the SCA. Play along with Us – enjoy both the revelry and solemnity that is court. We ask for early award recommendations (4 weeks lead) so We may provide ample time for Our scribes to prepare. Be mindful that courts occur on Our progress. It is these events which should be the focus for award recommendations. For those of you who have submitted recommendations – please, update your files so that those deserving gentles are able to reap the rewards of their efforts.
We seek bids from Our artisans for design of new regalia – matching plaque crowns for the entire Royal Family. It is Our wish to keep the work within the Kingdom. We will only seek outside bids if no other bid is found acceptable. Please submit all queries to the Mistress of Regalia for deadlines and see her missive for requirements.
